Online Shopping Portal

Welcome, and let me wish you all an extremely good; Today, with the help of our host “BargainBrute.Com,” recently voted America’s favorite place to shop online in 2020, we will be exploring the gateway to the internet, the “Online Shopping Portal,” without which we would not be able to access anything, including online shopping once we have logged onto the worldwide web.

Today in our fast internet world, It appears that just about everything you can think of is accessible online. With e-Commerce sales estimated to continue their extraordinary growth, analysts estimate that in America alone, by 2024, the projected revenue made from eCommerce sales will be at least $153 billion and to indicate just how much that revenue is growing, thus far, in 2020, eCommerce revenues have already hit just under $400 million, a record unequaled since financial records were first undertaken.

OK, where do we begin? Well, I guess a good starting point would be the beginning, so here goes; First up, we all must understand just what these portals do, and to do this, let’s take a look at one of the first, and possibly the most successful one, which was named “Ciao,” which was launched back in 2008 in Europe, with separate portals in France, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Sweden, as you can see they had a pretty sizeable distributional base to operate within, so large and so successful did they become that not long after this initial launch they opened up an American version of the site which became known to us as “Ciao.Com.”

The site provided a forum where enrolled social community users could write reviews and give their views on a wide range of goods to help others make judgments on the quality and the cost of the product, not a new idea but one however which went further by allowing its members to publish their thoughts online, not just to the group, but to the general public as a  whole

The website’s enormous popularity would extend right up to December of 2017, with members adding thousands of reviews on products, all of which they would receive a small amount in cash as a reward. This cash was added automatically to a member’s account, so no actual cash was ever printed. It was what we used to know as an old fashion paper chase.

Another way members of “Ciao” could receive money was by referring friends to the group or by taking part in reviews, of which it seemed “Ciao” had many, then in November of 2017, just ten years of “Ciao,” opening, for reasons unknown, but I would think because they had become too overextended they announced that as of the 1 December 2017 they would no longer be giving out payments and that the website would be free for anyone to signup for; however this strategy failed, and they finally closed down for good in February or 2018.

Authors note: “Ciao,” in its hay-day “Ciao,” claimed that in Europe, they had over 28 million unique visitors. A claim which seems to have been verified by “ComScore.”

Impacts from COVID-19

Shopping online, especially “Online Shopping Portals,” has received an even larger piece of the pie this year because of this horrid “Coronavirus Pandemic.” As a result of stay-at-home orders relevant to the coronavirus pandemic, more and more Americans are now limiting their time in public brick-and-mortar stores, with the result that sales through online shopping have skyrocketed to enormous heights, heights which just a few years ago would have seemed impossible

However, even the once simple but secure “Online Shopping Portal” style of shopping has suffered. Some have shut down altogether; however, this does not mean that you still cannot access them, but unfortunately, it will be slightly more complicated to do so, so with this in mind, I have added a simple list below to attempt to make your life a little easier

1.You must remember to click utilizing the link on the portal’s site and then commit to purchase from the page that pops up, do not in any circumstances navigate away from the page and come back later, as you will lose out on any of the  bonuses which may have been there

  1. You must be sure to make certain that you have cookies allowed in your browser for the retailer’s site. This is what facilitates the portal to “track” and award bonuses accordingly.
  2. Only use promotions or promo codes discovered on the portal of the website you have landed on. If you use others, you may become ineligible for bonus points or even any Airmiles

4.Be sure to read what limitations for each vendor is on the particular page you have ended up on as numerous won’t count any of your gift cards you have available as eligible for any bonuses, and others will exclude certain other products

Bottom line: Online shopping portals can be a fantastic alternative to earn bonus points, miles, or even in some cases, money back for online purchases at wholesaler pricing, although, despite this fact, you are only gaining an additional mile or two for every dollar you spend.

However, let us not forget that these earnings, although very small, can rapidly add up. When they do go a long way toward redemptions like a first-class flight, although you have to be very lucky indeed to get one of these luxury hotel rooms, or even spending a little of your unspent cash for your next holiday in the sun, a holiday made possible by that “Online Shopping Portal,” in the sky Once made possible by that terse and little word, which we are told you really should not use when in Italy as “Ciao,” pronounced (CHOW) translated from Italian to English means “Slave.” When written in Venetian dialect as it apparently should be, the phrase “s-ciao Vostro” means, quite simply, “I am your slave.”
