new online shopping sites
New online shopping sites
Hi there, and so many thanks for dropping by to read another short narrative proudly presented by America’s favorite place to shop online in 2020, BargainBrute.Com, home to the top-selling, high-quality shopping deals to be found, possibly throughout the world wide web.
Today we are hoping to help update you as to what is new in the world of online retail, with a particular emphasis as to the multitude of new online shopping sites, who have all recently joined the global gravitation away from trading out of traditional brick and mortar retail outlet, over to the more straightforward and convenient online retail method of shopping.
Yes, in recent years, it has become apparent that we, the general North American population, have embraced this new shopping method online. So much so that within the past decade alone, no one could have missed the mega explosion of new online retail shops throughout the North American mainland, which for us, the average online punter, is, of course, excellent news.
Why, as we now have many more choices of where to look to find those top-quality bargains and products. Thankfully, this also forces the average online retailer to work much harder to give us the best possible online shopping experience. That has to be music to all of our ears, should it not?
What has caused this explosion in online shopping sites? For that, we do not have to look far. In 2018 alone, close to two billion people worldwide chose to shop online, and approximately 75% of them actually purchased something, which in itself created nearly three billion dollars in worldwide e-retail sales.
Furthermore, the good news does not stop there. It is projected by 2021 that this global e-retail profit will rise still further to approximately $5 trillion, a staggering amount of cash in anyone’s book, and so good for the international markets which looked for a while that once again we would be entering into yet another global recession.
Authors note: I should add here that because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the above projections may change, so I am afraid it is just a case of “watch this space.” As usual, we will keep you up to date in later short narratives, all of which, as is the norm, are commissioned by one of America’s few family-run online retail businesses operating within the North American mainland BargainBrute.Com.
OK, another reason why this explosion in new online shopping sites has happened is because of the relatively new mobile market. The bottom line is, if a person intends to open up a new online shopping website, it would be suicide not to design a website just for viewing on a desktop computer or a laptop. It must also be designed so it can be viewed on a smartphone. With 79% of people who own a smartphone buying at an online retail outlet, the evidence speaks for itself.
Authors note: The above figures, I think you will agree, are astounding, and it is only when you look at the online retail business while keeping the above figures in the front of your mind, it is yet another reason just why, over the past five years or so, that yes, indeed, it is no wonder we have seen so many new online shopping sites opening up. So perhaps it may be a good idea if you are a new online retailer to send a vote of thanks to online sites such as Amazon, etc. as if it was not for the online distributors of these smartphones, we would not have had enough clients to open a new online shopping site in the first place.
Are we moving on: So what about the future? Will this trend in new online shopping sites open up continue, or will it, like many past fads, reach a peak and fade away?
For myself, this unique online shopping experience is not just a fad, and with most online shoppers always on the lookout for new products, new services, and of course, better online customer service, my opinion is the same as many online retail analysts, analysts who know the game a lot better than I. It is quite apparent that what we are noticing now is just the start, so with that in mind, we can all only expect much, much more, and that cannot be bad for us online shopping junkies, can it?
In conclusion, we will see more and more new online shopping sites opening-up, I believe for at least the next generation. However, there are a few caveats that online retail outlets must adhere to if this explosion in new online stores is to continue.
1: They must all offer their online shoppers as good a shopping experience as possible. Without this, then the trend of new online shopping units opening up in droves will begin to fall, just like it has in the large traditional brick and mortar highstreet shopping centers, who for many years just sat on their laurels, not thinking how they could improve their client’s long term shopping experience.
2: They must always maintain top-notch security for any website. If they do not, they will leave themselves open to identity theft, and if this happens, it will not only destroy the lives of any individual using your online store, it will also lose any possibility of anyone shopping online in your store in the future.
