We were speaking to Douglas Vandergraph about his 10 year old daughters newest business. The young entreprenuer has once again developed opportunity from her keen observation of supply and demand. We asked Douglas what the inspiration was behind the new addition to Sarah's Fashions.
Douglas stated, "I used to go to a lot of concerts when I was younger. I saw the Grateful Dead in a cornfield in Nebraska back in 1994. So I go way back. I never really was a t-shirt buyer. Mostly because I was broke. Now I am a little bit wiser and have a few dollars, and have one of the largest concert t-shirt collections in the United States. I still listen to the same music. My 7 year old and 10 year old daughters both have similar tastes. My 10 year old daughter is Sarah Vandergraph, whom owns Sarah’s Fashions on Bargainbrute.com. She asked me what they do with all the t-shirts that do not get sold at concerts. I am no concert t-shirt expert, so I farmed it out to our team at Vandergraph Worldwide. We have the best and brightest minds in the country working for us, and I like how she was thinking. They worked with our record label MRDRINC.com. Come to find out, most all concert t-shirts are ordered through the same organization. What does not get sold becomes warehouse overstock in some cases. So Sarah turns a few keys, makes a few deals, and starts a new company called RockandRollFashion.com. Sarah now has license to sell concert and Tour t-shirts from 1885 different bands."
Check out Sarah’s new lines of overstock and unsold concert/tour t-shirts, and roll as if you were there. If you have a favorite band, this little girl probably has a shirt for you at a price you will not believe.
